Ludine Pierre, MS, Primary Therapist - Eating Disorder Unit

Ludine received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and Master of Arts degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Southern Adventist University in Collegedale, Tennessee. Ludine has a long history with Focus, working as a program technician during her undergraduate studies, and as an intern for her graduate studies. In addition, Ludine’s graduate internship consisted of working at a community based counseling center where she had the opportunity to work with individuals of all ages from all walks of life. What started out as a desire to work exclusively with women and their issues, turned into a desire to work with those struggling with various addictions. She is passionate about mind-body connection, and how the body and brain can heal itself through compassionate, mindful, and intentional living. Ludine has worked in various clinical settings including inpatient and outpatient treatment centers for the last few years. Having worked with individuals, families, and couples her passion for helping people build healthy relationships fueled an interest in pursuing certification for premarital, and marital counseling. She is currently certified in the Prepare/Enrich method and is currently pursuing licensure as Professional Counselor in the state of Tennessee. Ludine enjoys hiking, bouldering, yoga, learning about different cultures, study of the human psyche, creating memories, and music.
