Margie Hayduk, LPC, M.Ed, NCC, Director of Family Programming & Primary Therapist - Substance Use Disorder

Margie is a graduate of University of Tennessee at Chattanooga where she earned both her bachelors of Science and Masters in Community Counseling degrees. Margie has been an employee with Focus Since 2008. Margie is Licensed Professional Counseling, Mental Health Service Provider and Nationally Certified Counselor. Margie was a High School Teacher for a private school in the local area for ten years when she decided to change careers. She has experience in the addiction recovery process on many levels and brings her love for the addict and the families of addicts to her current position as the Intensive Outpatient Counselor. She began her experience in addictions counseling in 2007, assisting with outpatient groups and families in the local Tennessee and North Georgia areas. As the Intensive Outpatient Counselor, she is currently responsible for group counseling and Psycho-Educational segments for both the morning and evening IOP groups. She is passionate for those suffering from addiction and other dual diagnosis. While earning supervision hours over the past three years, Margie received training in Rapid Resolution Therapy, RRT; a method to treat trauma quickly and painlessly. She earned an RRT certification in 2011 and an ARISE Intervention certification in 2012. Margie feels fortunate to have lived in nearly every corner of the United States wile supporting her husband and raising their five children. Margie now has four grandchildren and is pleased to have settled in the state of Tennessee.
