Binge Eating Disorder (BED)
Binge eating disorder (BED) is characterized by repeated episodes of binge eating in which individuals consume unusually large amounts of food in a short period of time. They often feel they have no control over the amount being eaten and don't know how to stop.
After a binge episode, it’s very common for people with BED to feel physically uncomfortable due to extreme fullness. They also often experience feelings of shame, guilt, or self-loathing after an episode. If you or someone you love is struggling with symptoms like these, our team can help.
