Our everyday surroundings have a profound impact on us. That’s why we’ve curated a genuine, safe, and compassionate environment for successful treatment. It’s important that every person who joins us here feels comfortable and supported. We believe this intentionally-small setting is essential for bringing about the best outcomes for our patients.
As our team is licensed to treat both eating disorders and substance abuse, our campus features two separate units, one dedicated to each program. We also have specially-trained staff for each to ensure the best possible care. Patients with co-occurring disorders reside in the unit that correlates with their primary diagnosis, attending specialty groups in the other unit as necessary.
We work to ensure our spaces are designed to accommodate everyone, with all doors, bathrooms, and showers being ADA compliant. Our facility is also one level and wheelchair accessible.
Focus is a smaller facility, and we keep it this way intentionally. We believe maintaining a low patient to nurse/therapist ratio helps us provide the best, most attentive care for our patients.
We understand that the beliefs, genetics, brain chemistry, and specific life events that lead to food and body image issues are different for every person. That’s why we offer an individualized approach to eating disorder treatment.
