Diabulimia (ED-DMT1)

A combination of the terms diabetes and bulimia, Diabulimia involves the deliberate administration of insufficient insulin for the purpose of weight loss. In addition to withholding insulin, people with Type 1 diabetes who struggle with this condition sometimes also have other disordered eating behaviors such as purging or other unhealthy eating habits.

If you or someone you love is struggling with the behaviors associated with Diabulimia, we’re here to help.
